Where Skill Meets Standard.
Assessing What Truly Matters.
BSBAUD412 — Work within compliance frameworks
The skills and knowledge required to identify statutory, legislative and regulatory requirements and relate them to your own work practices, so that your adherence to the compliance framework is ongoing rather than occasional.
Everything EduPro issues you for this unit is below, in task order. Assessment 2 needs you to interpret and apply compliance requirements on two separate occasions, in two different areas — so you submit a Compliance Action Record for each.
Compliance Register
Assessment 2 · Task 1
Every compliance requirement that applies to you personally — statutory and regulatory in Part A, organisational and industry in Part B — with its source, what it demands of you, and the records that prove you followed it.
Compliance Mapping
Assessment 2 · Task 2
Your position description, duty by duty, with obligations, records and failure points attached to each. The last column asks where your real practice differs from the position description — that gap is usually where the risk is.
Compliance Action Record
Assessment 2 · Tasks 3 and 4
One occasion per form, so download two. Consult, interpret, apply, then evaluate your own actions. “Applied” means you did the compliant work and attached what you produced. Section 1 is your consultation record for that occasion — there is no separate form for it.
Compliance Review and Improvement Plan
Assessment 2 · Task 5
All four parts of Task 5 in one form: the feedback you sought on your own compliance, your analysis of what has changed around your role, the discussion of both with your Quality & Compliance Manager, and the plan for what you will do differently. Every entry in the plan has to trace back to something in the first three parts.
Supporting documents
EduPro VET Trainer / Assessor Position Description
Reference · used in Tasks 2 and 4
The position you hold at EduPro. Accountabilities, delegations, and the credential and currency requirements that attach to the role. You do not fill this in — you map your obligations against it.
Role Play Brief — Quality and Compliance Manager
Give this to your role player
Whoever plays your Quality & Compliance Manager reads this before you start. Any adult can do it — the brief tells them what to ask, so they need no compliance knowledge of their own. You will meet them at least three times: the ethics discussion, a consultation for each compliance area, and the feedback and review at the end.
No one to ask? Tell your assessor early. An AITT trainer can play the role — it needs scheduling, so ask before you start Task 2, not after.
Meeting Minutes Template
Complete · Tasks 2, 3, 4 and 5
Where a discussion is minuted rather than recorded, use this and have the role player sign it.
Recording Consent Form and Participant Declaration
Complete · all recordings
A signed consent form for everyone recorded, and a declaration naming every person in your evidence and their participation tier.
